Sometimes I draw shit

Sometimes I draw shit

... and other times I just post shit I find on the interwebs.

Last Rocketeer, I promise. : )
As I was moving the files over to show my process, I accidentally moved the tones without the “inks” and really liked the way with looked with white lines instead of black.

Process on that Rocekteer piece. Like I said, I’m a lot better with the sketching than I am the “inks.”

The Rocketeer was always one of my favorite movies growing up. Still is, actually. What’s not to love about a dude who has a jetpack, flies around, and punches NAZIs in the mouth?
I’m getting a lot better at loose, rough sketching with the Wacom tablet, but it’s the precision work that I just can’t seem to get straight. I really need to work on tightening up the “inks.” Of course, I’ve only been drawing with this thing for a few days…

In my house, watching the annual Twilight Zone marathon has been a New Year’s Eve/Day tradition for as long as I can remember.
This piece was drawn in Photoshop, using a Wacom Intuos4, in about 30 minutes. I’m still getting used to drawing with a tablet, so most of posts for the immediate future will probably be rough sketches like this one. Hope ya dig.
